40th Annual Rough Rider Marching Contest
2023 Rough Rider Marching Contest
will be held September 30, 2023
at Heroes Stadium
High School Music will have a booth near the warm up areas. They'll have a few emergency replacement items and an instrument repairman for any last minute fixes you might need.
Awards Ceremony/Trophy Presentation
For the awards presentations, please send your Drum Majors and any other officers down to the scoreboard end zone two bands ahead of the scheduled time.
As always, we will have full concessions with everything from our famous Rough Rider hamburgers, hot dogs, smoked sausage wraps, nachos, Frito pies, and snacks available. We also have cold drinks. Kona Ice, Arctic Ape, Kettle Corn, and Five Moon Lemondade will also be on site. These concessions are very important to the success of our contest and we would appreciate any support you could give us by encouraging your students and parents to patronize them.
We will once again have our air conditioned Director's Retreat on the 3rd floor of the press box. We'll have a few snacks and cold drinks on hand and, of course, the air conditioning.
